What We Do
Health Center Escorts provide safe and dignified access to PPSO Health Centers for all clients and their companions, and to de-escalate potentially hostile situations. The purpose of escorts is to provide a visibly welcoming presence outside the health center, to reassure and support the clients, and to escort clients into the health center.
As an escort, you are fulfilling a very important function. In addition to the larger issues of defending reproductive rights — a person’s right to choose and access to services and information, you are also protecting our patients’ well-being.
Health Center Escorts are instrumental to the operations at PPSO, and we are so grateful for your support and willingness to volunteer with us.
